A 25s stop motion about my interpretation on the 'mise en scene', offers a glimpse of the lighting, the position of the camera, the mouvement of the actor, the length of each take, and most importantly, the usage of the space.

00:03 - 00:06 Side view. Colin rushes down from the stairs (height:30cm/width:40cm), lands on the concret floor.
00:06 - 00:07 transition from side view to front view , camera stays close to the façade. Colin runs. (Colin's barely seen)

Update from the final week
the stability of these structure got better secured by bringing the Plane 5mm further and trimming a 6mm large gap to squeeze in the three assembled pieces. There are 15 groups in total with the repetitive assemble technique.
Another Texture, Another Plane
To intensify the contrast in between the upper( lighter/ opened space) and lower level (darker), i built another surface in plaster(3mm) that can be placed on top of the cable net structure for both level. The differences between them are the uses of the texture and color.
With the help of some black segments and plastic microwave film, the basement's ground shows similar texture as a brutal concret surface. The uneven color surprisingly adds up to the 'nonchalance' of a basement ground in general terms.
Simple white plaster is used on top.

After the previous studies on the shading system, i went further to explore how these elements can influence the space not only by the lighting but also with their own shapes and volume.
The inner skin
composed of 15 pieces, form evolving triangle shapes with the outer façade. With its gradually increasing surface and height, influences the path of our protagonist ( 'Colin') , pushes him to explore, go deeper into the space, without being conscious. The 7th piece of 'skin' has a pointed angle that situates at the height of 195cm and keep a distance of 55cm from the colonne. The choice on their position allows Colin to pass through this alley with the right amount of comfort/ danger.
