Model for Cour Marly, Louvre
Scale 1/66

From the beginning of our work we noticed that in the area we had there was a different level as there
was a wall under the zero level and under the building as well.
For taking this measure we came up with the idea of using a twine with a strong rock tied in the one
edge and so we let it fall until it reached the ground.
For measuring the length of the twine that we used we used the slabs of the terrace which were squares
with sides of 50cm.
As far as the roof is concerned we measured the length of it by observing where the ground was wet
and where it wasn't. Then we measured the length with the help of the slabs and we found out the
horizontal length between the building and the end of the structure of the roof.
