Room - Form

Par Stephanie Pitteloud, David Perret, 23/03/16

SCENARIO

The first thing he sees when entering the room are stairs that go up. He climbs those stairs and as he arrives at the top, he sees someone already studying at his left. He moves forward on the footbridge and goes towards the next desk. He sits and after looking at the colorful building in the distance, starts working. After a few hours, he stops and gets up to join the bleachers. He lays on it and takes a quick nap. He is woken up by his friend. Together they come down to the common table to discuss their work. After a long talk, they go towards the exit.

Our space is designed for four people during the study week including three types of spaces:

- Isolated spaces to work alone

- A common space on the outside to rest and relax

- A common space on the inside to work together  and share

 INTERIOR VS EXTERIOR

The spaces designed to be alone are giving an impression of interior where you can be self centered and focus on your work whereas the common spaces are on the exterior.
