We've replaced some elements of our room and we have now a system of cadrage on the second floor which consists to a simple horizontal ladder which creates a interaction between this space and below. This ladder is still use as a passage to the balcony.
The main question this week was: How can we use and build a furniture item which includes ladders in a way to continue to give a new function of ladders?
With ladders, we gain space which permits us to use the verticality as an advantage for an item that we can use in several ways.
Description of the prototype: coming soon
Ladder uses as confrontation between interior and exterior, and the steps are inclined for some privacy.

This week, we've wondered:
How can we make a Room with only ladders and floors?
The answer is that we use ladders not only like a passage but also like Windows, tables, bed and chairs.( which constitute the organs of the room.
In EPFL, we're situated in the north-west part of the proto-structure where we have a sight of the rolex and the meadow next to.
We have decided to focalise us on the meadow with the floor 1 and the Rolex with the floor 2.
The floor 1 contains a ladder-chair which has similitude with a gradin in a greece theatre and is placed near the window-ladder which delimits the interior-exterior.
Room, a part of the Inside of a building that is divided from other areas by walls and a door ant that has its own floor and ceiling.
How can we divise our part with only one element?
We've chosen the ladder and we have decided to place it in middle.
We wondered, is there a difference when we're in the proto-structure and when we're not?
The visitor, at the beginning, 'll see the ladder like windows ( spacement between steps) due to the fact that he'll be behind it.
