Studio Competition

Four different projects were developed around inhabiting a window, all following a same construction system: densifying an entire zone in the protostructure and spreading laths to generate a collective space.

GARDEN

A space where body and vegetation are confronted in common space.

WINDOW ROOM

Different densifications (black, grey, white) for different programs (solarium, relaxing room).

"CHALLENGE YOUR INNER House_I/W0 EWOK"

HALLWAY

The densified mass was spread in two to create a hallway, leading to a strairway ascending through the mass.

Implantation in the protostructure

Due to its flexible structure, the protosphere was modified to serve as a roof for The Theatre underneath, stabilise the platform above and generate its access by letting stairs be built in the mass of the structure.
