• Planes, Final : Modifying a space's dimensions

    Par Pierrot Lankry, 19/12/16

The main idea of those planes is to change space's size by moving a corner in relation to a wall in diagonal. This creates a space which can fill a vast diversity of functions.

a space which can be open...                                                                                or very closed.

From the indoor space, the structure is usable and understandable.

     Image Mon Dec 19 2016 19:19:12 GMT+0100 (CET)

But from the outdoor space there is  a mystical space which where you can't understand the structure.

  • Planes : Moving Walls

    Par Pierrot Lankry, 27/11/16

I wanted to use the rail system of the element to create a moving corner of walls that modifies dimensions and limits of space by changing his position compared to a fixed slap.

I though about this construction which is very integrated in the protostructure.

First proposal : a rail system with a short capacity of moving and with a big wall.

Second proposal : smaller walls with bigger capacity of moving.

  • Week 4: Lit-table orthonormé

Par Carolina Contreras Alvarez, Pierrot Lankry, Zacharie Cabaud, 15/11/16

This final week, we finished to build our element in real scale and brought it to the site. Our place was unfortunately occupied. However, we could perfectly adapt our element thank to his rail system.

The orthogonal rails and the table fonction permitted to create different spaces and, at the same time, a place to stay for a wile sitting or lying on the bed.

This week, we started building the element in real scale in order to solve some technical problem.

Furthermore, we upgraded our project : we designed an element with closer links to the site and the body.

Here are pictures of the new mock-up and the drawing of the element at 1:10 scale.
