This poster explains what we observed about the place, why we decided to make an object there, what is thecommon strategy and link with the other groups' projects and what we want our object to change in this place.

We had to go to place Bel-Air and use cardboard (as an object) to identify what could be changed at the place to modify and even improve the use of the place by people.

The street of Bel-Air is a multifunctional place where pedestrians and traffic, shops, meeting space and residential inhabitations get along. The building where we choose to put two of our strata is a corner building. It is open on the main street and near a public space. We can observe two different styles: the ground floor is more simple and functional due to its function (there is a shop) while the upper stories are classical with ornaments. A balcony separates those two styles. We decided to cast this part for our first stratum. We put the bridge at this level (its bottom matches the balcony's) because we wanted to show this change and for a social reason as well. Nowadays most people spend their time on their smartphones and do not look above the eye's level. At the first we casted the upper part of the balcony but it was not relevant so we casted the part below in order to show the influence of the bridge on the ground floor (in relation to the third stratum). The second stratum shows the last floor just before the roof's beginning. The last floor's windows become rounder to leave space for the roof's new function and break with the facade's vertical movement. Our last stratum's cast represents the ground floor (mandatory) and especially the bus stop. The supports (copper wires) had been put quite randomly but it was decided to avoid putting them too close from the casted details and it creates a kind of continuous space on our first stratum.
