• ROOMS - FINAL WEEK - Dionysos's playground

Par Ogbonna Gabriel Ihechimnemerem, Terrien Romane, 22/03/17

The play of platform transports you in a fluide way through the whole project. The stage is placed in a way that the spectator has to cross it, what blurs the physical barriers and thus the role of the spectator. The unic program space is transformed in a bifonctional space by putting other platforms on the back part of the protostructure. Trying to activate the all the space given by the protostrucure.

We worked more on the gride provides by the module that guides our project. Bringing down the scene and repetating it to creat a roof. We transformed the platfrom of the initial scene in a circulation space.

We based our work on the main idea of the scene. To see the project in it’s globality as the a theatre piece. Playing with platforms on different levels for the scenes and the space for the public.

The protagonist won’t only be the performers but, the public would be part of the performance too. We wanted to play with the relation between the public on scene and the street. The two functioning as a playground.

The different elements of our project are all based on one node that we adapted to each situation. The initial node was taken in the catalog of the studio that we had to do in the first week.

  • PLANES, Final Presentation

    Par Ogbonna Gabriel Ihechimnemerem, 20/12/16

Final presentation of the project. Based on the painting we had at the beginning, we choosed two planes and observed how the two interact, the relation that they have with the protostructure and transposed the spacial qualities of the painting. The hole project is elaborated on a modul taken from the walls of the painting, creating a vibrance on the façade that continues on the roof. Contrasting with a smooth surface inside and vibrating outside; effects created by the different orientations and sizes of the wood.
