I see a mass floating as if it had no weight. Above the wide waters, there is a nest, a knot of life, an unexpected world, that grows from the sky.

                                                       ROOMS_AD_pilsworthdaniel-giacuzzigimmi-stavrovskajanatalia_105

Intrigued by this poetic image, this cloud floating near the shoulders of the proto-structure, I follow the allurement.

I plunge into this new space; I gradually discover the strates, flying & floating around me.

    Canto III

Frowns o’er the wide and winding Rhine,
Whose breast of waters broadly swells
Between the banks which bear the vine,
And hills all rich with blossomed trees,
And fields which promise corn and wine,
       And scattered cities crowning these,
Whose far white walls along them shine,
Have strewed a scene, which I should see
With double joy, wert thou with me (...)

        The Rhine, Lord Byron (1788–1824)

    SCENE I

A desert place. Thunder and Lightning. Enter three witches.

    FIRST WITCH
When shall we three meet again?
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?

    SECOND WITCH
    When the hurly-burly's done,
When the battle's lost and won.

    THIRD WITCH
That will be ere the set of sun.

The space created is a fragment of a fashion show venue which offers a multidirectional perambulation opposed to the traditional unidirectional catwalks.

The space has the particularity of playing with it’s audience, during the show.

                    PLANES_AD_pilsworthdaniel_102

Two kinds of walls; one is completely opaque and the other has gaps of 2cm wide.

People finding themselves in this space, will see and experience the same things but at different times depending on where they are. Shadows, forms and colours are perceived. However, once the models walk through the main door, all eyes are on them.

Many other programs could be attributed to the spatiality of the project; per contra the main goal of is to perpetually play with the perception of the beholder. Contrast between Unknown/Known using the verticality of the walls for example.

                                                                                                        "Unknown" moments

The doors are aligned, and are in diagonal from the different sections of the space. A person finding him/herself at the main intersection will supposedly understand the connection between the areas.

A relationship is created between the body and the ground; One moves because of the other.

                    PLANES_AD_pilsworthdaniel_110

The plaster suggest a more static, transitional area whereas the wood suggests immediate movement

A “woosh” effect is created at the entrances inviting the person to enter the space.
