My location in the site model from our first exercise MEASURES is into the bel-air tower, which corresponds to the same sun orientation of the previous PLANES EXERCISE. But now considering the site model as a whole new volume with the same external conditions from Lausanne. I then extract three planes from the first PLANES EXERCISE which is a roof, that folds to make a wall, with a window, and then curved to make a bench.

All the sense of the house deduced from the painting was the horizontal projection of this bench and this window on a vertical wall, that now is adapted to the condition described previously. making it horizontal which is the clue of this project. The bench is traducing horizontality and transparency, to keep the same languages of our site model the repetition of horizontality is now allowing us to foresee vertical planes and put in question the dimensions of vertical elements and how we can live and interact with it.

Monge of the element at the 1:10 scale & the unfolding system linking two levels, two spaces.

The level on the left is the most similar location we found in lausanne to create an element hanging from our site model.

The link is made between the levels, a space is defined under the chair. The window invite you to look up.
