A "prefiguration" of our element. Our element is fixed to a pole and is here to block the access to a natural reserve. On the left we can see that it's a framwork which is as high as the barrier and is in the continuity of the barrier. On the right it is perpendicular to the barrier. This shows that our element can rotate around the fixed pole of the barrier. We can't see on these pictures but our element would be similar as the barrier. It has the same grids as the barrier. It is composed of 8 vertical bars 173.6x0.3 cm (every 10 cm) and 5 horizontal bars 98x0.3 cm(every 30 cm). We would fix 2 poles in the water as high as the barrier which would fix our element between the two different positions we see on the pictures.
We choose to rotate our element to create an illusion of opening such as a door but which still stop us to cross the barrier and to go to a forbidden zone. Scale 1:1
First Sketch of our element (not finished). On the left there is a blank on which our element is standing. Scale 1:33
On the right there is the end of the barrier on which our element is fixed. Scale 1:3
