    Voici le plans et deux élévations de notre projet de PLANES. Il s'agit ici du premier dessin réalisé lors de ce projet qui nous a permis d'exprimer les proportions désirées pour cette structure.

    Quelques variations du dispositif créant les puits de lumière afin d'explorer les possibilités, observation des formes découpées par les ombres sur le plancher.

        "Le corps intervient par une sensibilisation plus intense à la notion de gravité. Le poids de l’homme est ressenti, est exprimé sur une pente même en station immobile, car il faut mécaniquement réaliser un effort musculaire pour conserver dans ce cas son équilibre. Cette prise de conscience du corps, même dans l’immobilité, prend une acuité bien plus grande dans le déplacement sur les rampes".

  • WHAT IF THE PINBALL WAS OUR INSPIRATION?

    Up to now, we manage to create a space well-grounded, according to our hypothesis of PLANES. Articulations of the wood are thought to be doable. The slats are assembled everywhere face to face and oriented, so the strongest side faces the force.

    Owh, something is happening here.



    Being critical to this space, it feels empty and it is difficult to project ourselves in it and play with the different possibilities that aren't so diverse. And here is what came us to mind. Imagine to raise some planes given by the ground, and make it traverse our inclined plane. Many planes, like obstacles, on an inclined plane, imagine a ball sliding between them and the whole become for sure a pinball game!    

    Despite the unlikeliness of this inspiration, it brings a lot of sense. Imagine entering a big empty space, a big room. If you want to chill out there, for sure you are not gonna sit in the middle, where nothing is. Imagine now a wall, a plane in the middle of this space. People will be able to sit from either side of it! If we add another, it will be possible to stand, sit or chill between them or behind one. Every new plan ads new possibilities. Planes are possibilities.

    We decided to investigate different possibilities proposed by planes to improve our first space. Those walls can follow different rules. The first and common to all our trials is that we want those walls not to be too high, because we want to build links, not to cut the space in different parts. It is now about to define what is  "too" high, and where do the planes come from.
