HOUSES - WEEK 2
Par Gugger Robin, 26/04/20With Nathan Pasche and Jean Richter from studio Wegman, Lea Guillotin from studio Bondu, Marvin Tajana from studio Abenia
WEEK 2
A house made for scenes (debates, concerts,…) to gather people and enjoy the Avre river
Plans / East & North elevations (scales 1:20)
The house is divided by 3 main rooms, each of them linked by a dense a dense network of stairs and walkways, sometimes intersected by balconies. In this way, each element of transition makes it easier for visitors to walk around and rest.
30/60 axonometries (Scales 1:20)
The "House" is characterized by geometries closely related to the environment, such as the slope, the verticality of the trees etc... If, at the south side of the project, we can observe a linear dynamics in relation to the parking lot, the North side rushes towards the river following the slope of the natural site.
Sketches
Collages showing the atmosphere of the House
Taking into consideration the past projects projects provided as a starting point, the House intends to offer a wide choice of use to the occupants. It has several "Rooms", scenes, that present diffenent spatial conditions. Spaces are used as debate room like we said earlier, others for theatre stages, concerts scenes or gathering spaces.
At the bottom of the house (located north), a platform allows visitors to communicate better with the river. In the center, at the height of the surrounding trees, a terrace can be the ideal place to spend a moment of relaxation while participating, enjoying either the dabate or the show.
The particularity of proposing several options of use goes hand in hand with the multiplicity of levels in the houseHere are some other point of view of the House

WEEK 1
Plan / East & North elevations (scale 1:20)
The "House" we have proposed is characterized by geometries closely related to the environment, especially toward the slope. If, at the south side of the project, we can observe a linear dynamic in relation to the asphalt surface of the parking lot, the North side rushes towards the river following the slope of the natural site.
Taking into consideration the past projects provided as a starting point, the House intends to offer a wide choice of use to the occupants. It has several "Rooms" that present different spatial conditions. Some spaces are used as debate rooms, others as theatre stages or concerts scenes.
At the bottom of the house (located north), a platform allows visitors to communicate better with the river. In the centre, at the height of the surrounding trees, a terrace can be the ideal place to spend a moment of relaxation while participating, enjoying either the dabate or the show.
The particularity of proposing several options of use goes hand in hand with the multiplicity of levels in the house: everyone can be free to choose at which height to stop. The slope, dense of trees, is an obstacle for anyone who wants to get as close to the water as possible. Thanks to the massive use of scales and passages, the project facilitates this transition.
The different "Rooms" are linked together by a dense network of stairs and walkways, sometimes intersected by balconies. In this way, each element of transition makes it easier for visitors to walk around and rest.sketch

Perpective (located north of the house)
The perspective is showing a view from someone located on the walkway that leads toward the theatre stage and the access to the water.

HOUSE : Week 2

SYNTHESE:
Arbres & Ecologie: Hêtre commun, Platane commun
Arbres & Botanique: Bouleau, Pin sylvestre
Autre: Lierre, Herbe plate
A: Platane commun,Bouleau,Pin sylvestre,Hêtre commun, Lierre
B: Bouleau, Pin sylvestre, Lierre
C: Hêtre commun, Platane commun, Pin sylvestre, Lierre...
