Plan, bottom and four elevations
In Evian, the contrast between the lightness of the supporting structure, anchored to the floor, and the fountain, floating in spite of its mass, caught our attention. We chose our 3x3x3m section around the fountain to study this contrast as well as the movement the water brings to the structure.
Unlike the other fountains, the horizontal fountain lays on the anchored structure and therefore establishes two parallel dialogues: one between the floating and anchored structure and the second one between the flowing and stagnant water. We explored the mediator role the fountain holds through our mold.
